Switzerland: Falun Gong Practitioners Celebrate Falun Dafa Day in Berne

On May 17th, 2008, the Falun Gong exercise music could be heard at the Rose Garden in Berne. What was different from usual was that the Falun Gong practitioners were celebrating World Falun Dafa Day. They expressed their gratitude to their respected Master by practising Falun Gong, studying the principles, exchanging experiences and raising awareness of the persecution.

Among the practitioners, some who used to suffer from different kinds of illnesses have now not only recovered but also become more vigorous and younger having practiced Falun Gong. Some have improved their family relationships after practicing Falun Gong and setting demands on themselves with Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.

They express their gratitude to their Master by reciting poems.

To Our Respected Master

On the birthday of our Master
Even more your practitioners think of you.
Consecrated is our sincerity
In front of the Picture with flowers and fruits.
A lighted fresh incense stick
Is presented to our respected Master who is far away.
For sixteen years the Fa has been spread
And now seen throughout the world are the Pure Lotus Flowers.

Predestined Relationship

For sixteen years Dafa has been spread
By surmounting all kinds of hardships and difficulties.
With the lighted fresh incense sticks conveying our gratitude to our Master for his kindness
Our pure hearts have formed predestined relationship.
With thousands of dangerous passes that have been surmounted
All fated calamities are already culminating.
When we follow our Master to the Heavens in the future
The whole world will exclaim its abstruseness in admiration.

The Rose Garden in Berne not only has more than two hundred kinds of roses in it, but also is best located giving a panoramic view of the whole city of Berne, which has become a place of must see for many tourists. The Falun Gong practitioners choose this Garden as their practice site in order to make more people to know about Falun Gong and to know about the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. Therefore, each time when they practice Falun Gong together, they will display the leaflets and materials about the truth including the leaflets and materials about the truth in the Chinese language for the Chinese tourists.

In the last five years, the regular time for the Falun Gong practitioners in Berne to come to attend the practice at the Rose Garden has been every Tuesday evening, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.
