Before I started to cultivate I suffered from many different diseases, such as serious rheumatoid arthritis which made my legs rigid and very painful. I was also suffering from a pain and pressure in my chest and thyroid gland hyperplasia, all of which miraculously disappeared once I started the practice. Seeing all the great changes in both my mind and body I was determined to carry on practising.

I practised the Falun Gong exercises every day. Not long afterwards, my health completely recovered. My hair grew back, and I was in full spirits again. For the first time in my life, I fully appreciated what it was like to live without sickness. I was able to help manage a small food stall for the family. After I left Tongzhi Hospital, the doctors tried to track me down to continue my therapy. But when they discovered that I had recovered completely by practising Falun Gong at home, they found it "inconceivable".

A relative of mine in his 40s used to have many bad habits. He was a hooligan in the village. He bullied and terrorized villagers and even cursed and beat up his parents. He drifted through life, doing nothing but eating, drinking, gambling, and leading a life of debauchery. I brought him the Falun Gong books and materials that explained how the Chinese Communist Party are persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He actually started to read them quietly. Evidently he understood what he read because he purged himself of all of his bad habits. He even quit drinking and smoking. He is now a changed man.

During the ten days I was hospitalized, I had not been able to eat or drink. Upon returning home, I could drink water. I started listening to Falun Dafa lectures on audio tape. Several days later, I could eat and get around without any medical treatment. My condition improved day by day. I used to suffer from arthritis and my hands were so swollen that I could not do housework. I had tried various forms of medical treatment but they all failed. After listening to the lectures, I could not only practice the exercises, but also walk two miles. Everyone who came to visit me thought that Dafa was so miraculous!

I first tried to change my temper. Once I encountered a conflict, I first looked within to see whether I had done something wrong or whether I had certain attachments. I became calm by tolerating and everything seemed in harmony once I took one step back. I gradually achieved it. I slowly let go all of my attachments and tried my best to conduct myself according to the requirement of the Fa. While changing my clothes one day, I noticed that my leg was healed!

I am a college student who will soon graduate. It has been three years since I came across Falun Dafa. Although both my parents practise I had no interest in giving it a go or even learning anything about it. Now things have changed and I have come to firmly believe in benefits brought about by practising both Falun Dafa. Below is my personal experience. I hope it can help people to understand what Falun Dafa really is.

My husband recovered quickly. Now he can do some chores and also go outside and ride a bike. Our neighbours were all perplexed: Didn't he have cancer? How come he looks more energetic? His face is even rosy. I proudly told them that it was because he started practising Falun Dafa. Now our neighbours also come to my house to learn Falun Dafa.

When the doctors checked on my mother's ward, all the doctors, nurses and patients in the same ward were frozen in shock. It was truly a miracle! Mother had made a speedy recovery overnight! "What miracle pill did she take last night?" everyone asked. In just a few days, mother checked out of the hospital. Our relatives and friends who called on her were amazed by the miracle.

Due to the physical torture and suffering from the diseases, and the mental and economic burden, my health was declining with each passing day. My temper had become increasingly bad. I was easily irritated, I cursed regularly, and I did not cooperate with the doctor's treatment. I knew that the treatment was only a consolation. My family secretly grieved over my condition.

My father and I were in despair after they returned home. Mother's illness became worse and worse each day. She eventually became incontinent. One day, my aunt came to visit us and said to my mother, "Why don't you try Falun Dafa?." Then she started to read the Falun Gong book, Zhuan Falun to my mother. Within several days, my mother's illness had simply vanished.

After several months, I noticed that the serious rheumatism which had afflicted me for many years had disappeared. Now I can easily cross a ditch or climb the stairs, and I walk down the street without any difficulty. Ever since then, I have told everybody I meet that it is Falun Dafa that restored my health and I wouldn't have anything today if I hadn't had the chance to learn this great practice.

One of my relatives is a Falun Dafa cultivator. He told me that Falun Dafa only looked at people's hearts. "As long as you sincerely recite 'Falun Dafa is good,' the effect can be very powerful". I thought I'd give it a try, so I sincerely recited "Falun Dafa is good". I recited those words and did not think of my disease. Not long after, I started to get better and better. Later on I went to hospital to be checked again. Much to the amazement of both myself and the doctors I was now completely healthy and free from any cancer.

I suffered from rhinitis, arthritis, bursitis in my shoulder, hypertension, etc., but the most worrisome were the hepatitis and diabetes. These two diseases work against each other. If I wanted to treat one of them, I couldn't treat the other. Hepatitis requires eating good food and getting a lot of rest, while plain food, eating less, and being more active are best for treating diabetes. Therefore, it was a heavy mental burden, and my poor health continued, day after day.

My survival instinct propelled me to recite "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good." As soon as I said that, I did not feel the pain and I stopped vomiting! It was truly a miracle! It was something completely inconceivable! This experience dispelled all the lies I had heard on the television broadcasts.

When I was seriously ill before, some people learnt that I was still critically ill, and some thought that I had died. When I returned to Changchuan City for the meeting, they were so surprised, asking how I had made such an amazing recovery. I told them openly, "I am a cultivator of Falun Gong. It is Falun Gong that saved me and totally changed me."

I was hospitalised in Daqing Oil Plant General Hospital. After many blood and bone marrow biopsies, I was diagnosed with "leukaemia." But it was not clear as to what type of leukaemia I had. I was given many different medications, to no avail. Finally my husband took me to the National Blood Research Centre in Tianjin. However, after another thorough examination, no definitive diagnosis was made. We had no choice but to return to Daqing City.

At the moment of my greatest despair, an opportunity came along. I heard that Falun Dafa was able to cure illness, so I decided to give it a try. In the spring of 1998, I began to cultivate Falun Dafa. Zhuan Falun. Falun Dafa brought miracles to my body. In just over 10 days I went from being a medicine basket since childhood to being healthy again. I did the exercises without taking any medicine and all my diseases were cured.

After listening to the fellow practitioner's words, I expected the fellow practitioner to bring the Falun Gong book Zhuan Falun the next day. After several days, the fellow practitioner brought the book. I read the entire book non-stop, from 7:00 a.m. until close to 8:00 p.m. After I finished reading, I felt that the book teaches us to be good people. Many principles in the book, which I did not understand before, help people become generous and open-minded after reading the book.

I learned a lot in a few months. The stranger on the Internet didn't lie to me and he had no reason to lie to me. I had no choice but to believe the facts that I had learned. I appreciated and seized the opportunity to talk to the stranger on the Internet. I also obtained the electronic version of Zhuan Falun from him, not that I wanted to learn Falun Gong, but to learn more about what it was, because it is irresponsible to Falun Gong, to oneself, and to society to talk about things one knows nothing about.

A month later, all of my symptoms were gone. I could even perform heavy labour. This is something I would not have believed in the past, but how can I deny something that has happened to me personally, I was amazed. I want to tell all people in the world: "Falun Dafa is good! Do not believe the Chinese Communist Party's lies!"

One month later, all diseases that had tortured me for many years disappeared. I felt very energetic. I could eat food that had been forbidden due to my gastroenteritis and my joints no longer hurt. Since that time I have not taken any medicine. I am now over sixty years old and can work as though I were in my twenties.

After Ms. Liu's clavicle was broken and repaired with a steel plate, she always felt cold and numb. She worried that she would never recover. But that day she raised her arms up to such a high position, it was as if she had never suffered from the injury.

People around me all ask, "How come you recovered from your illness so soon? What supernormal medication did you take?" I tell them that it was Falun Gong that saved me, and I got better by practising Falun Gong. Having witnessed my miraculous recovery several of my neighbours also began to learn Falun Gong.

My mother continued to urge me to practice Falun Gong. "Don't seek any rewards when you say 'Falun Gong is good' and you will be rewarded for your sincerity," she said. I thought I might as well give it a shot because I was at the end of my rope. As soon as I started saying "Falun Gong is good," I immediately started to feel better

One week later, the breast lump was gone. The entire family was very happy. The daughter said, "Finally, you should believe in hospitals." The mother smiled and said, "I believe in hospitals, but I also believe in Falun Dafa. I have done an experiment on myself." She then opened a drawer and showed the medicines prescribed by the experts. Her family saw that the medicines were untouched.

Twenty-one days later, the old man had another check-up. The doctor pointed at the new x-ray and pondered: "Why is it so hard to tell which leg is now broken!" The family member went to consult with several other doctors and received the same answer. The doctor also commented: "How come an old man like him recovered that fast? Even a young man will not recover so quickly!" The old man's son replied excitedly: "It was because I asked my father to recite 'Falun Dafa is good.' That is the reason."

At that moment, I was so emaciated that I barely looked human. I had lost all my colour and I could not breathe evenly. My family secretly prepared a special cloth for me to wear after my passing. At that time, I did not dare to look at anyone in my family. I suffered both from the torture of my illness, and the pain of knowing that soon I would leave this world and my family.

It doesn't seem that long ago when I was disabled, suffering from many different diseases, including epilepsy, mental illness, sleep walking, and being dull-witted. I also suffered from a slipped disc, bone spurs, hyperlipidemia, an arm injury, and shoulder inflammation. It wasn't cured after treatment in Shanxi Province's major hospitals. Yet, less than two years after I learned Falun Dafa, all these diseases were cured.

Three days after I got home, my whole upper body became stiff and my breasts were very hard. Several days later I found my whole body was stiff, even the flesh of my tongue became hard. I stayed up all night and cried to myself. I knew that I wouldn't live for long. I took out all the photos of me and chose one of them as my "portrait of the deceased."

My wife heard others say that practising Falun Dafa was good for keeping fit and improving health, so she started to practice. With my own eyes, I saw my wife's wellbeing improve greatly. Her stamina also increased. Because we no longer needed to buy expensive medications and pay for all the different medical expenses, our family's financial situation also improved greatly. The entire family truly entered a state of calm and harmony.

Sanshen stopped meditating and gingerly moved her legs to the floor to see if she could stand properly. She found that she had grown taller. Testing herself again as she stretched, she cried out with tears of joy, "Look at me, my back is straight again!"

In the middle of the night I would spit out a basin-full of black blood. No matter how terrible I felt, I never gave up studying the Falun Dafa teachings and practising the exercises. After the purification, my stomach problems that had plagued me for all these years had disappeared and I could once again eat cold, sour, and spicy foods.

My miraculous recovery also gave the local villagers a chance to see the truth about Falun Dafa. When I had just started to practise Falun Gong some people even commented, "If she recovers from her illnesses by practising Falun Gong I will throw myself of a bridge." Now they are left speechless.

His children then smiled and said, "It was, after all, more effective to take medicine." The practitioner told his children with a smile, "All the pills are in my pocket, I didn't take even one single pill." He then took out all the pills that he was supposed to have taken during the fourteen days and showed them to his children. All his children were finally convinced about the goodness of Falun Gong. They said, "Falun Gong is really miraculous! Father, you can go ahead and practice well.

My name is Yang Zhen and I'm 51 years old. In April 2002, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer and in need of immediate surgery. However the operation had hardly begun when the surgeon refused to continue. I learned about this only after I woke up. The specialist said that I would not live for more than three months.

In May of 2007, my father went to work in another town and learned about Falun Dafa. He was told that many people who had cancer before were miraculously cured after they began the practice. My father brought me a copy of Zhuan Falun and some Falun Dafa related leaflets. After reading the book and the leaflets that explained the truth about Falun Dafa, I felt relieved, and my outlook immediately changed for the better, as if I'd found a light in the deep darkness.

My father is 80 years old and used to suffer from both both prostate and bone cancer. The doctors diagnosed him as terminal and his cancer spread. They said that my father could live three months at most. Those patients experiencing bone cancer usually live the rest of their lives in excruciating pain. Seeing the pain on my father's face, I knew that only Falun Dafa could help him.

Before he practised Falun Gong, my husband often couldn't sleep well and was in pain every day. He could have a blockage in his intestines at any time and was in great discomfort. Since the very first day he started to practise Falun Gong, miracles occurred. He could sleep well, his bones no longer hurt, and his intestines were no longer blocked.

I then moved to live with them. I stopped doing anything else to cure my cancer. Instead I truly began to study the Falun Gong teachings, practice, and purify my heart. After a couple of months, great changes happened to me. The cancer disappeared, and my long black hair grew back. I'm active and filled with energy.

All these conditions caused her a great deal of daily suffering. Last March I told her to say, "Falun Gong is good! Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are good!" After she repeated those sentences for less than two months her hypertension, headaches, insomnia, and gallbladder problems disappeared. She had been unable to squat for many years but now she has become more flexible.

My aunt couldn't help sharing her story with her family and relatives. My mother also suffered from several diseases, including emphysema, tracheitis, rheumatism, stomach illness, and constipation. My aunt informed my mother, her older sister, how she had benefited from practicing Falun Dafa, telling her, "Big sister, you should also come to practice Falun Dafa. Look at me--all my diseases were cured. Now I know what it is like to be truly happy."

Though there have been bumps along her cultivation path, Aunt Qiu has greatly changed in her health and mind. She used to fight with others over tiny issues; saved money but could not eat or sleep well; and often had dizzy spells, symptoms of anemia, and insomnia with unidentifiable causes. She didn't feel good mentally or physically. She was in a lot of pain. After cultivation, she became joyful and her illnesses all disappeared. With a healthy body and lighter heart, she is capable and responsible.

Xingcheng did these things every day and kept "Falun Dafa is good!" in his heart. Soon, his serious stomach problem disappeared. Every day he felt he had so much energy. He often walked 50 kilometers instead of riding. His neighbours all commented that his changes were nothing short of miraculous.

When she went back to hospital for a checkup, all the tests returned back as positive. The doctors looked at her rosy complexion and couldn't help but ask, "How did you recover and so quickly as well?" Beaming, she replied, "I am cured because I practise Falun Gong," to which he exclaimed, "I have never seen anything quite like it!"

"I finished reading the entirety of Zhuan Falun in one night. The calmness I felt at that moment made me realize that this was what I had been looking for all my life. At that moment, I decided to start practising Falun Dafa." said Huijun.

As an intellectual, he dismissed Falun Gong as superstition at first. However, he didn't have the heart to turn down my dad's advice. He was bedridden, so he read Zhuan Falun in bed. Teacher was very compassionate and made Grandfather increasingly well each day. Finally he could get out of bed to learn the Falun Gong exercises. When he was practising the third exercise, he felt incredibly comfortable from head to toe. He said he had never felt so great.

Not long after that, I called her to see how she was doing. She said that she had read the book but she could not totally believe it. However, she felt the exercises were good and decided to give them a try. About one year later, I called her again. She told me that every day during her lunch break she would practise all five sets of the exercises according to the instructions on the video tape, and that she has been completely cured. She said that "Falun Dafa is the only genuine science".

While selling fruits at an early morning market, I met a person I used to know but hadn't seen for many years. She was quite surprised that I had changed: healthier, stronger, more energetic, friendlier, and more tolerant. I had a good chat with her about the turning point of my life: Falun Gong.

I live in Jixi City of Heilongjiang Province in China and I am 69 years old. In early May of 2006, when I was on the brink of death, simply saying "Falun Dafa is good" saved my life. I have practiced Falun Dafa ever since.

On March 22nd, 2007, the Gastroenterology Department at the hospital where I worked received a female patient who was about 20 years old. Her anus was entirely swollen, and she was restless due to the pain. She fainted once from losing too much blood when she was bleeding. She was diagnosed with a swollen rectum, serious anemia, low blood protein, external piles, low blood calcium, and Hepatitis B.

On August 6th, 2007, my father's situation worsened. He was hospitalised for three days, but there was no sign of improvement. His oesophagus was blocked, so no food or fluid could pass through it. He lay in bed all day long. The doctor advised us to prepare for his funeral, so we placed an order for his coffin when we returned home.

A few days ago I paid a visit to her house because I had some errands to run. When I first stepped into her house, what I saw amazed me. The chaotic environment that once consumed her home had completely reversed. The yard and her house were now clean and organised. Both my sister and her husband looked so happy. After seeing my expression, my 74-year-old sister and her 80-year-old husband told me their story.

One day, one of my colleagues, who is a Falun Gong practitioner, came to see me. He saw how sick I was, so he told me the truth of Falun Gong. He gave himself as an example, and said that he became healthy after practising Falun Gong. He suggested that I also learn Falun Gong. I thought maybe there was this one last hope. So with a heart of doubt and curiosity, I accepted the book Zhuan Falun.
